STRUCTURAL DESCRIPTION

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a bioactive region of Thymosin Beta-4, a 43-amino-acid actin-binding protein expressed in many tissues. It is widely used in preclinical research on cellular migration, actin polymerisation, and tissue remodelling.

MECHANISM IN RESEARCH CONTEXT

Reported to interact with G-actin sequestration and to modulate cell migration in cardiac, dermal, and corneal models. Studied alongside BPC-157 in regenerative research contexts.
